I'mmmmmmm Backkkkkk !!!

So, it has been quite a while since I last posted anything. It's strange how quickly you can just stop blogging yet pick it right back up without any effort. I suppose it is just one of the natural wonders of blogging life.
Well, nothing really exciting has happened over the past several months. My job went P/T and am presently working with my union to keep a 5 day work week. That's stressful. I interviewed today for another position in the building. Not expecting a 2nd callback but, ya never know.
This past Saturday, Feb. 27th, me and the WeThrees were entered in a NADAC trial in North Smithfield RI. What a wonderful time we had. Baby Echo made her agility debut and performed like a real champ. What a good little girl. Am still planning on having her have one litter of pups but that won't be until June. We are going to get our OFA hip check next Monday and the rest of her clearances will follow. I want to make sure that this goes well and we produce the best little corgis that will be great little athletes as well as the best companions. Will update on that as we get info.
As soon as I get the video of Echo running I will post it.

Patiently waiting for Spring to arrive. Need to see the grass grow and the leaves on the trees, but as I said to the WeThrees, we have survived yet another winter that actually really wasn't that bad this year.
Well at that note I think I will sign off and wait for pics to post.

So I feel like I am living in Seattle with all the rain we have been having and seeing as it is another damp Sunday afternoon I figured I would update with some new pics. First on the list is some pics of my orchids. Some of the folks at work wanted to see so here they be:

Second, felt like a good day to do some updated portraits of the WeThrees: Ain't they sweet !

And last but by no means least, my neighbors youngest, Michaela, played in the AVLL youth softball finals this past week. Unfortunately they did not make the playoffs but it was a nail biter to the end. Way to go SUNBIRDS !!!

Well it has been quite the week for the WeThree corgis. Paddi ran his first excellent runs at the Mayflower Corgi show in Boxboro at the Sheraton. He did a wonderful job and really did a great job. If it hadn't been for a few handler errors, hhmm wonder who that could have been, anyway he would have qualified. Regardless it was a great time. Met some really nice folks, Bridget and Juanita. Bridget was running her boy Remington and Juanita was there just to watch. Its amazing how rain can bring folks closer together. Anyway, then came baby Echo's first showing. I gotta toot a horn for her, she carried herself wonderfully in the ring. She did a nice self stacking that was right up there with the best. She got a few really nice compliments from other breeders so I am a very proud mom. Will try to have pics later.

So here it lunch time at the office, Yay..... went to my neighbors youngest daughter, Michaela's softball game last evening before I had to come back here for Zoning hearings and thought I would share some snaps of the game.
She is developing quite the pitching arm.
And has a good eye and can get on base pretty consistently...
I just love watching and cheering them on... Love the game.

Got to work a tad early today, Hhhmmph, can't figure out why there wasn't any traffice but good for me !!! Anyway, spent Saturday at the USDAA NEAT trial in Hampton Falls New Hampshire. My boy ran pretty good and at a good speed too. Was a pretty good day all in all.
Doesn't he look graceful as he sails over the jumps! :-] That's my boy......

So me and the WeThrees were at some agility trials this weekend and I thought I would show you all how Little Sydney deals with all the stress.

Also thought I would show you my little dwarf weeping cherry tree. (I still can't figure out why it is so sad ? :-] )

Apr 24, 2009

So I do believe Spring is finally here, especially since it is gonna be about 85 degrees on Saturday and Sunday of this week. We will be in Wrentham this weekend to do the AKC and NADAC trials. Anyway, baby Echo wanted to thank Auntie Christie for her new tug toy that I brought home for her last nite. She just kept dragging it around with her last nite so she wanted me to send this thank you out to her.
My boy Paddi's nose was a little out of joint cuz all he had to play with was this stupid blue sheep.......

Apr 17, 2009

Yippeeeee! A long weekend is upon us......

Apr 8, 2009

This is the little tyke that I gave to my neighbors girls the other day. His name is Scoots cuz boy he can really scoot. Their old cat went to that kitty place in heaven before Christmas so this has been in the works for a while. He is very tiny but a big ball of purrrrrrrr. Please welcome Scoots to Brianna and Michaela's home. I sure will have fun cat sitting from time to time. :-]
Okay, I still have a lonely swollen gland that just won't seem to go away. I am sooooooo done with the virus thing.

Apr 4, 2009

Okay, so still not feeling well. Sore throat, still. I have had just about enough of the virus thing. At least it was a terrible windy day. Good to stay indoors. Hopefully I will get better as the weather does. Think I'll play a video game for a while.

Apr 2, 2009

Okay, so now I am the slacker.... I have had some virus thing for the past 5 days and it has NOT been pretty. Anyway, after visiting the clinic and being told that all I had was a nasty virus I am almost back but still not quite. I'll tell ya, I have been from a fever 0f 100.4 to swollen glands about the size of little golf balls... Not a comfortable thing.... Anyway, on the mend. And my Wethrees took very good care of me. There was not a moment that they weren't surrounding me. Kinda cool their pack leader was not feeling well and they needed to make sure I recovered.... Gotta love it... :-]

spring fling

I'm gonna combine a bunch of items in this post. The other day while I was sitting in the yard while the pups ran around I happened to notice that some little tulips were up! Yippee !Second it was such a great day that I took the wethrees to play frisbee and romp in the sun.

And last but not least, some of you may know of my stories of a red tailed hawk that frequents my yard quite often. I usually panic when it arrives cuz either my little yorkie, Mindy is out and about and she only weighs 4 1/2 pounds and I worry about little Sydney so I try and keep a sharp eye on days like today. Well, as usual the hawk arrived and hung out in this tree assessing the yard and things going on. It sat in this tree for about an hour not showing any signs of leaving. I think it was waiting for diner !!!

I can't figure out if this is a youngster or those are its winter feathers.
